Hypnotherapy is the traditional form of treatment which most people are familiar with when they think of hypnosis . It uses conventional methods to apply direct commands (Suggestions) to effect positive life changes. The client is hypnotised into a state of calm relaxation and this opens the mind up to suggestions. This type of hypnosis works by allowing the client to experience detached external attention and to focus on inner experiences. No regression is involved. A relaxation recording will be offered to the client to listen to post treatment. Up to 6 Sessions are generally recommended.
Rapid Transformational Therapy is a hybrid modality of Hypnosis. RTT is uses an array of techniques and tools that are crucial, not just in teaching you how to communicate with your subconscious mind, but it directly accesses and fixes whatever blockages may be there. It offers permanent change in a short space of time because it focuses on working with the root cause and it does this with regression. RTT is ideal for dealing with more complex mental and physical issues that originate from negative past events, experiences or trauma. It is quick, it is effective and it works! Often only one session is required, but it may take up to three sessions.
Success in Hypnotherapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all metric. It varies based upon individual goals, the issues being addressed and the criteria for measuring effectiveness. The reason why it is hard to predict how many sessions are necessary using any form of Hypnosis, is because there are several factors involved in the outcome:
- Your state of mind
- The complexity of the issue
- How well you respond to hypnotherapy
- The technique and approach utilised
- Client commitment
